Project Overview
The new 11,040 sqft Johnston County Area Transit System (JCATS) Administrative and Maintenance Facility better supports the repair of fleet of buses that serve the senior community throughout Johnston County. In addition to the day-to-day transportation duties, JCATS plays a vital role in Johnston County Emergency Services‘ emergency operation plan by providing transportation to shelters during times of natural disaster, inclement weather and other evacuation emergencies. This facility will enhance those critical operations during times of crisis.
