When it comes to accommodating business growth, Bobbitt is there for local companies. Thermo King in Gaston, SC, is a prime example. Bobbitt constructed a 33,029-square-foot facility to serve as the headquarters of a local Thermo King franchisee.

“We are excited to see all of the enhancements and efficiencies we have been working on to make this a state-of-the-art facility, finally come to fruition,” said Thermo King Dealership owner Ritchie McQueeney at time of completion. “The folks at Bobbitt have done a phenomenal job bringing all of the necessary resources to bear.”

The headquarters consists of office space, parts storage and delivery, work and wash bays and parking for more than 160 trailer units.

The building is accented with detailed brick veneer and LED high-bay lighting, a 5-ton bridge crane system, a generator to power the entire building in the event of a natural disaster and loading dock conditions for both 18-wheelers and pup trucks. The office space has all the resources and area for the company to continue to thrive for years to come.

An industry leader in transport refrigeration, Thermo King sells, installs and services transport temperature control systems for trucks, trailers, shipboard containers and railway cars. Thermo King has other South Carolina locations in Florence and Charleston.
